Corner Brook Employees Score for the Kids

Corner Brook Pulp and Paper’s 8th annual Log-A-Load for Kids charity hockey tournament was held on February 10 and 11 in Gander. More than $37,000 was raised for the Janeway Children’s Hospital in St. John’s.
The tournament, organized by the Woodlands Department, was a huge success, gathering 159 players in 12 teams.
Corner Brook Pulp and Paper employees have been taking part in this annual hockey tournament and other fund-raising projects since 2001, raising more than $260,000 for the Janeway Children’s Hospital in Newfoundland.
An initiative of the Canadian Woodlands Forum, Log-A-Load for Kids is a national giving campaign through which forest industry professionals make donations to local Children’s Miracle Network hospital foundations.
